Unique, unmistakable, reliable, ductile and with a variety of ranges and performances. These are bricks made by PICA, who has made these products the solid foundation for those to come in the rich and varied terracotta industry. In fact, bricks are the fundamental element in any building idea: the primary cell from which any discourse of architecture and habitat originates and develops. Whole cities, from Siena to Parma, Bologna and Ferrara, stand proud with their bright pinks, reds and yellows, from bricks made out of local clay, shaped by the rough, skilled hands of master craftsmen, and baked in kilns that have been burning since the time of the Etruscans. Ours is a brick-based civilisation and it is this tradition that PICA has made its own, adding to it a production cycle that aims at total quality, from the raw materials to the finished product.
